The small team of dedicated engineers handcraft each and every unit so you can worry less about what's in your ears and focus more on the sound that makes you.3 hybrid drivers for a comprehensive soundThe Kiwi Ears Forteza features a hybrid design with 1 High-Mid Balanced Armature (BA) + 10mm Mid-range Dynamic Driver (DD) + 10mm Bass DD. This combination of 1 BA + 10mm DD + 10mm DD provides a full sound from 20Hz to 20,000Hz. In addition, the use of 2 different dynamic drivers in combination with a BA driver offers a significant improvement in sound texture and timbre.Rich sound signatureThe Kiwi Ears Forteza features a passive three-way crossover system tuned for a rich and lush sound signature. The bass response is rich and has a powerful punch. Thanks to the slower decay, the bass is more structured and rumbly, allowing bass guitar lines to really come into their own. The mids have also been tuned to be more colourful and warmer, giving voices and instruments a thicker body. Thanks to these characteristics, the Forteza is ideal for people who want to enjoy a fuller sound rather than a flat and neutral sound signature. The high frequency response is carefully tuned to the lows and mids to avoid a dull or dark sound. The high frequency response is exactly in line with the preferred curves, with clear articulation and full reproduction of micro details.In-house driversThe Forteza is equipped with proven in-house drivers that ensure high sound quality. By using drivers that have proven themselves in previous models, the combination of these drivers ensures that efficiency and quality are maximised. The dynamic 10 mm composite driver system, for example, offers excellent bass response thanks to its complex diaphragm composition and the size of the driver. By overlaying the 10 mm DD with an additional 10 mm bass-midrange driver, the low frequency range is structured and offers excellent imaging characteristics. In addition, the single BA driver has been tested to achieve an excellent SPL to THD ratio across the entire frequency range with great sonic characteristics. The use of in-house drivers has ensured optimum technical and sonic performance based on direct implementation.Detachable cableThe Kiwi Ear Forteza is supplied as standard with a detachable cable with 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors. The Quartet is Kiwi Ear's answer for those looking for a fun in-ear monitor that delivers the quality bass you need.Penetrating BassThe Kiwi Ears Quartet is designed around the nine isobaric subwoofer with dual dynamic drivers. The innovative driver design uses two 10mm titanium diaphragm drivers, each independently driven by two magnetic circuits. The two drivers have been passively aligned to be phase synchronous and prevent sound wave cancellations. This new subwoofer design produces extremely well extended sub-bass kicks that are tighter, faster and deeper than any previous woofer design. The Quartet is Kiwi Ear's answer for those looking for a fun in-ear monitor that also delivers the quality bass you need.Harmonious balanceAlthough the Quartet is a bass-heavy IEM, Kiwi Ears has gone out of its way to create a natural tonal balance. The focus is on the need to deliver textured and powerful bass, but without washing out or dulling the mids and highs. The dynamic drivers were crossed with a passive low-pass network at 350 Hz to provide rich, thick bass, while the mids were tuned completely flat from 350-1 kHz.This allows for accurate tonality in the mids like neutral studio monitors, while adding a touch of warmth in the lower mids. This means that the Quartet sounds bulky in the bass, but still clean and flat in the mids, preventing unwanted bloat found in most headphones. Custom Balanced-Armature DriverThe Quartet features a custom balanced-armature driver for the midrange and a custom balanced-armature driver for the ultra-high range. These drivers have been matched to the balance of the new dynamic drivers through a tuned ventilation system to ensure better airflow. In the Kiwi Ears tradition, the Balanced Armatures are passively tuned to the in-house target curvature for the midrange and treble. This means that the mid-treble delivers crisp, clean sound for voices and instruments without sounding muffled or nasal. The highs are detailed with plenty of sparkle for professional use, but natural and free of shrillness or fatigue.Recommended usesThe Quartet can be considered neutral studio monitors, but with a sub-bass and bass emphasis that starts at 350 Hz. This provides a bit more body, texture and fullness in the lower mids, but neutral mids and upper mids. The Quartet is perfect for drummers and bass guitarists who need powerful and impressive bass. Music lovers who want high-quality bass with a natural tonality will also benefit from the Quartet's balanced tuning.About Kiwi EarsDriven by the pursuit of exceptional audio reproduction, at Kiwi Ears we create the perfect blend of technological innovation and refined tuning strategies.

The Kiwi Ears Quintet features 4 different drivers:
1 dynamic driver made of diamond-like carbon (DLC),
2 BA (Balanced Armature) drivers,
1 planar magnetic driver and
1 piezoelectric (PZT) bone conductor.
With a total of 5 drivers per ear, the Quintet delivers extremely high-resolution sound comparable to that of professional studio monitors. For the subwoofer, a large 10mm DLC driver was selected for its high responsiveness and tensile strength to deliver powerful bass that nevertheless decays quickly. 2 Knowles Balanced Armature drivers deliver natural and resolving midrange. The MPT (Micro Planar Transducer) is a new driver technology for the IEM industry. These new tweeters feature the classic planar magnetic driver circuitry, but with a smaller footprint for use in hybrid designs. With an extremely low noise floor and high output capacitance, these planar magnetic drivers deliver crisp and detailed highs that are different from the typical BA or EST (electrostatic) tweeters used in most IEMs today. Finally, a piezoelectric driver was used to deliver ultra-sharp micro detail and air. In research and development tests, the PZT driver was found to significantly improve perceived audio resolution, texture and soundstage, so it was a no-brainer to incorporate it into the Quintet. Kiwi Ears Micro Planar Transducer (MPT) driver.Achieving high ultra-high-frequency quality is a challenge in the IEM industry. BA drivers are compact but offer low ultra-high extension and are also limited in power and sound quality. EST drivers are difficult to use in multi-driver setups because they have very low output power and are often masked by the volume of other drivers. In addition, EST drivers can sound very metallic at high voltage, resulting in an unnatural presence. For this reason, Kiwi Ears has developed a new ultra-tweeter with a small module size of only 5mm but a huge output power of 118dB. The Kiwi Ears MPT driver is efficient at producing sustained high frequencies from 4kHz to 40kHz.Typical BA or EST drivers have a decreasing treble output after 8 kHz. However, the MPT driver can maintain the same constant sound pressure at 14 kHz as at 4 or 8 kHz. This allows extreme flexibility in matching the MPT driver to other speaker types such as BA or DD, as their output values are similar. In addition, the MPT driver has a much more natural sound structure than EST or BA drivers, resulting in better integration into the mix.
Balanced sound signatureA balanced sound signature is a fundamental belief of Kiwi Ears. The Quintet took almost a year to develop, as combining all the driver types was technically difficult. However, the result is a fully balanced sound that accurately reflects the best characteristics of each driver. The sub-bass is strong and fast, with a 9dB shelf that transitions to a flat midrange at 300Hz. This transition from mids to bass ensures that the lower mids are slightly warmer so bass guitar notes can be heard in the mix, but the upper mids still have the neutrality of a studio monitor. This results in a natural and clean sound without dirt or bloat. The treble peaks at 3 kHz to match the acoustic perception of the pinna of the human ear, with a gradual decay into the upper treble range. Thus, the treble is very detailed and sparkling, but not shrill or harsh. The planar and PZT drivers provide good extension in the highs up to 40 kHz, resulting in higher resolution, airy ambience and a wider soundstage.

Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo In-Ear Monitors Custom 11mm dynamic driver with KARS Sound Tuning by Crinacle 2-pin interchangeable cable / 3.5mm jack The Kiwi Ears Singolo, an in-ear monitor with a dynamic driver made of liquid crystal polymer driver equipped with the Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System (KARS). These IEMs were developed in collaboration with Crinacle, known for its expertise in audio product reviews. Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System (KARS) The Kiwi Ears Singolo feature the KARS system, a discrete bandpass filter that manipulates the airflow to the driver and regulates the low frequency output. This innovation features a network of labyrinth tubes specifically designed to determine the most appropriate resonance point for Singolo headphones. The KARS enables a tight infrabass band, which was previously not possible with single driver headphones. The quality and texture of the bass is incomparable to any other tuning method. Unlike conventional crossovers that use multiple drivers with RC (resistor-capacitor) networks, KARS uses Helmholtz resonance to regulate its tuning.
The airflow in a dynamic driver determines the level of cone response, but also requires additional calculations of flow, direction and volume. The KARS system allows this airflow to be precisely regulated without unwanted artifacts where RC networks tend to distort the sound reproduction, especially when using low cost SMD components. Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : a custom liquid crystal polymer driver To showcase the KARS system, the Singolo IEMs are equipped with Japanese liquid crystal polymer (LCP) membrane drivers. These dynamic 11 mm drivers have been specially developed for the KARS system and feature unique acoustic chamber profiles at the front and rear. Liquid crystal polymer was chosen as the diaphragm material due to its tonal properties. Harder metal-based cones tend to have a metallic sound in their timbre, while plastic-based cones tend to sound dull.
The LCP offers a perfect balance between the two stiffnesses for fast transient frequencies and natural timbre. Thanks to KARS technology, this speaker has been tuned for acoustic dynamics alone, which means that the sound you hear comes only from the speaker. Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : the sonic signature of Crinacle The Singolo headphones are tuned to the sonic signature of Crinacle. With a sub-bass band of 8 dB, the bass is incredibly powerful and punchy, but stops perfectly at 300 Hz. The result is neutral mids that articulate the natural sound of voices and instruments without any artificial overlay or muddiness. The treble follows with a clear peak at 3 kHz, followed by a gradual decay. Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : a detachable cable system The Singolo have a detachable cable system. The 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors allow the cable to be replaced at any time. This allows you to personalize your listening experience while guaranteeing a longer life for your headphones.
