Audioengine HDP6
Color: Black
Passive desktop speakers 1“ silk tweeter 5.5” aramid fiber woofer Magnetic grilles Gold-plated speaker terminals With their handcrafted cabinets and hand-tuned sound, the HDP6 passive speakers are a perfect match for stereo receivers, integrated amplifiers, tube amplifiers and anyone in search of the “perfect sound experience”. A feast for the eyes and ears The HDP6 is one of those rare music systems that sound even better because they look good. The sealed, handcrafted wood veneer cabinets absorb sound waves and reduce echo and reverberation for a more natural and balanced sound, without harsh or artificial tones. They are also very robust. The real wood veneer can withstand years of use and abuse and is less susceptible to scratches and dents than synthetic materials. Plus, Audioengine sources their wood veneer from responsibly managed forests that are harvested in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Sure, they look great on your shelf, but the HDP6 is much more than just a pretty face. Handcrafted with your music in mind Every music system built with other people's parts sounds like someone else's music system. Audioengine doesn't rely on what's on the shelf or lying around in the factory. They develop, build and tune everything that goes into their music systems by hand. What they don't build themselves, they have manufactured to their exact specifications. Audioengine has total control over every step of the process. This has allowed them to produce high-end audio systems that are not too expensive for more than 15 years. Impressive performance range The bottom line in nerd speak: Audioengine uses audiophile-grade, ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters. Silk tweeters can withstand high power levels and the edge-controlled design ensures a very smooth frequency response. The woofers are made of aramid fiberglass with rubber surrounds. The HDP6 woofers are housed in cast aluminum frames that ensure high rigidity and improved heat dissipation. The bottom line for the rest of us: they look great, sound even better and are built to last a long, long time. Specifications: Type: 2-way passive speaker system, rear design, power amplifier or AV receiver required Driver: 5.5“ aramid fiber woofer 1” silk dome tweeter Inputs: Gold-plated terminals Frequency response: 50Hz - 22kHz ±1.5 dB Dimensions: 25.15 x 18.54 x 30.23 cm Weight: 5.67 kilograms

Audioengine P4
Passive loudspeaker 2-way bookshelf speaker Real-wood veneer 4-inch aramid fibre woofer 0.75-inch silk dome tweeter With sleek, modern exteriors and cutting-edge technology inside, Audioengine's P4 passive loudspeakers are perfect for stereo receivers, integrated amplifiers and tube amplifiers. Perfect for old school, new school, or even middle schoolThe P4 passive loudspeakers give you award-winning Audioengine sound in a bold, modern package that connects to your trusty integrated amplifier or stereo receiver.New or old, Audioengine designed the P4 passive loudspeaker to work with both digital or hybrid amplifiers and stereo receivers, integrated amplifiers, and tube amplifiers. The P4 has a 4 ohm impedance rating, meaning it's designed to handle higher power. At the same time, it still sounds great when connected to a receiver or integrated amplifier with 4, 6, or 8 ohm speaker output impedance. Audioengine knows you're going to love the P4 Passives, and here's why 2-way front-firing passive design – sound comes out primarily from the front of the speaker, and you don't have to worry about sound bouncing off the walls behind the speaker.Handcrafted enclosures - offer superior quality compared to their mass-produced competitors. Silk-dome tweeters and aramid-fibre woofers - high-quality parts that reproduce sound excellently and are durable. Stable enclosures: To minimise unwanted resonance and distortion, Audioengine enclosures feature thick, resinous MDF walls with extensive internal bracing. Heavy sound-dampening material is used to reduce unwanted sound reflections within the enclosure. All cabinet edges are radiused, which not only looks good but also reduces high-frequency diffraction effects at the front sound walls. The P4 enclosure includes tuned ports for the front ports. Furniture-like finishesThe P4 enclosures are available in a variety of attractive finishes, including bamboo veneers and high-gloss white paint, offering a wide range of options to complement any interior design. Custom componentsAudioengine designs and manufactures its own speaker drivers and other critical components. In other words, the P4 is not a system built with off-the-shelf parts, but rather contains custom components engineered to our specifications. What Audioengine doesn't directly manufacture in their factories, they've had made to their specific designs and parts, such as circuit boards, transformers, magnets, and cable harnesses. Based on studio monitor designsStudio monitor loudspeakers are used by producers and engineers in recording and production studios. They are designed with a flat frequency response, which allows the audio engineer to create a final mix so that the recorded music will sound good on most other speakers as well. While Audioengine loudspeakers are not designed to be near-field studio monitors, Audioengine applies the same high-quality technologies, components, and design philosophies to all Audioengine loudspeaker systems. Driver Designs Audioengine employs audiophile-grade silk-dome tweeters cooled by ferrofluid and featuring neodymium magnets. The silk domes hold up well at high power and the edge-driven design ensures very smooth reproduction. The woofers are made of an aramid fibre-glass fibre weave with rubber surrounds. Aramid fibres are obviously very strong, which means that the woofer retains its shape even at high levels. The materials and construction of the speaker are robust enough to withstand heavy use, so no speaker grilles are required. In other words, Audioengine has done its homework on the speaker drivers, and they'll still sound and look great years from now. Shielding Both drivers feature internal magnetic shielding, so you can place the speakers within inches of a video monitor. This shielding also provides protection for hard-drive-based digital music players. Technical data Type - 2-way passive loudspeaker system Drivers - 4‘ aramid fibre cone bass driver, 0.75’ silk dome tweeter Terminals - Gold plated Frequency response - 60 Hz-22 kHz ±1.5 dB Nominal impedance - 4 ohms Cabinet material - 13mm MDF Recommended Amplifier Requirements-10-125 W per channel Dimensions - HWD - 23.4 cm x 14 cm x 16.5 cm Weight-2.7 kg
