Two ES9039SPRO chips
The Gustard X26III features two ES9039SPRO chips for outstanding digital-to-analog conversion, with one chip dedicated to each channel (left and right) to achieve precise stereo sound. Independent power supplies and grounding for each chip ensure minimal interference and deliver a clean, detailed, and impressive audio experience.
DSP Digital Filter
The DSP Digital Filter uses a high-performance solution based on Analog Devices’ SHARC digital audio-specific DSP platform. Its primary goal is to reduce in-band aliasing noise in the digital domain. By upscaling and shaping the raw digital audio stream, this filter enhances overall sound quality. Key technical features include an anti-aliasing noise algorithm and high-precision 64-bit floating-point operations, which ensure optimal performance and clarity.
FPGA Programmable Logic Chip
The programmable FPGA logic chip incorporates exclusive technologies, including digital integrated circuits with custom logic functions, clock management, second-stage PLL digital shaping, DOP demodulation, and PCM/DSD Depop switches. These innovations form a solid foundation and ensure outstanding sound quality and optimal performance.
GCLK-02 Clock Module
The GCLK-02 is a high-performance clock frequency synthesizer that uses advanced PLL (Phase Locked Loop) technology to ensure the stability and accuracy of the clock signal. It offers flexible clock options, allowing users to choose between a local clock source or an external 10-MHz clock signal. This design significantly reduces the impact of front-end clock performance on the overall system and minimizes dependence on the performance of front-end audio devices.
Hybrid IV Conversion and Analog LPF Circuits
The concurrently developed Hybrid IV conversion circuit, which meets the high current requirements of the ES9039SPRO chip, ensures optimal performance. The analog LPF circuits use discrete Class-A components, which allow for precise tuning and greater flexibility compared to integrated circuits. This approach minimizes distortion and delivers a warm, natural sound with low noise. Through careful component selection and tuning, the circuits enhance overall sound performance and provide a rich and realistic listening experience.
Network Bridge System Developed Entirely In-House in Collaboration with CelAudio
The Network Bridge System is designed with a focus on music playback. Unnecessary hardware is removed to restore the true nature of the sound. It is based on the CelWare 3.x music playback system and combines optimized hardware and software with a Linux kernel tailored for I/O performance.
This design prioritizes dynamic music playback, minimizes latency and jitter during audio data transmission, and enhances audio playback performance. The software also manages playback applications and can shut down unused bridge systems to maximize playback efficiency.
USB Interface with XMOS XU216
The USB interface features the XMOS XU216 chip, which supports PCM768k and DSD512 and ensures high-quality audio performance with minimal latency.
Independent Power Supply and Signal Integrity
It features independent voltage stabilization, multi-stage filtering, and excellent separation of the left and right channels to prevent interference. Two high-quality toroidal transformers supply power to the digital and analog circuits separately, ensuring complete isolation. Multiple power supply groups operate independently of one another to ensure a stable and complete power supply.
