Double-shielded silver headphone upgrade cable
- 3.5 mm - Double-shielded coaxial structure
- Double-shielded silver headphone Upgrade Cable
- The cross-sectional area of the conductor is 22.8 AWG
- XLR connector
- 195cm length
The ddHiFi BC150B series headphone cables have been widely recognized since their launch and are praised for their exceptional sound quality and exquisite workmanship.
Double-shielded coaxial structure
To achieve better tensile strength for upgrade cables for over-ear headphones, the multi-core braided cable is usually wrapped with a mesh to prevent loosening. Instead, the BC150B's cable structure is designed to combine the two signal lines into a coaxial structure, with the outermost layer supplemented by a shield, creating a double-shielded coaxial structure with three conductor and three insulation layers. This structure provides excellent tensile strength and ensures a cleaner background sound during signal transmission.
Much more than pure silver
The main conductor consists of two types of pure silver with different diameters, mixed with silver-plated OCC and a silver-copper alloy from Furukawa. The cross-sectional area of the conductor is up to 22.8 AWG, which meets the requirements of high-performance transmission while ensuring transmission efficiency for various signals. This also contributes to sound quality, making the timbre of different instruments more precise and the sound positioning clearer.
