1DD + 3BA hybrid design

The PURE high-performance in-ear monitors feature one dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers.

They utilize a silicone suspension with a liquid crystal dome diaphragm and a dynamic driver with an N52 rubidium magnet and a dual-chamber internal magnetic circuit.

A DLP 3D printing process is used for the cavity construction, a technique typically employed in high-end products with multiple drivers and custom-fit earpieces. Equipped with a newly developed, silver-plated copper coaxial cable. Delivers excellent objective measurement results

Efficient & practical driver configuration

Similar to the HEXA, the PURE features a dynamic driver and three balanced armature drivers. The design aims to align with the target curve of the most advanced HATS models by making adjustments based on design experience with the HEXA and feedback from audio experts.

By integrating a simple yet effective configuration, PURE strives to offer a high-quality hybrid earphone with a clearly defined three-frequency response at a reasonable price.

A dedicated 10mm dynamic driver is responsible for reproducing the bass range. It features a sophisticated internal magnetic circuit structure, paired with a diaphragm made of silicone gel (for the suspension) and LCP material (for the dome). Unlike the copper-clad aluminum commonly used in dynamic woofers, this model employs a special copper coil. This choice helps lower the natural resonance frequency and appropriately increase the impedance, enabling powerful bass that meets the requirements of a precise crossover.

For the midrange and part of the high-frequency range, a composite full-range balanced armature driver—different from the one used in the HEXA model—is employed. This driver is designed to provide a precise transition to the frequency band of the dedicated dynamic driver, ensuring that the high frequencies closely align with the intended design goals based on the HRTF characteristics measured with the BK5128 HATS.

PURE optimizes the crossover and damping characteristics. By employing a custom-designed balanced armature driver, similar to the WBFK series, for the high-frequency range, extension in the upper high-frequency range is improved, and both resolution and information transmission for these frequencies are optimized, while simultaneously complementing the overall bandwidth.

Precise hybrid three-way crossover

PURE’s nozzle design, which incorporates a filtering function, is manufactured using high-precision DLP 3D printing technology. This design, combined with a precisely calculated RC crossover, results in a hybrid three-way crossover system that allows each of the four drivers to effectively fulfill its respective role under the corresponding nozzles. This advancement helps bring PURE’s objective measurement values closer to the intended design goals.

Outstanding objective measurements

PURE has made significant adjustments to various components of the audio system, including the crossover, drivers, damping, resonance chamber, and cabling. These modifications aim to reduce the Q-factor of the resonance peak in the upper high-frequency range while optimizing bass response for a better listening experience.

The PURE delivers a solid, natural sound that is versatile enough for various applications, including monitoring, music, and gaming. Compared to the HEXA, it offers more impactful bass, a more solid midrange, and improved brightness and detail in the high frequencies, resulting in a balanced ratio and soundstage across all three frequency bands.

Like other multi-driver products from Truthear, the PURE also exhibits high phase consistency across all frequency bands. This design eliminates connection issues commonly found in conventional multi-driver earbuds, ensuring a more natural listening experience without distortion caused by phase deviations.

Classic DLP 3D Printing Technology

HeyGears’ DLP 3D printing mold uses highly transparent, medical-grade resin characterized by internal coloring and advanced surface polishing technology. This ensures improved printing accuracy and efficiency. The design enables an exquisite sound nozzle structure that is difficult to achieve with traditional methods, resulting in a lightweight form made from skin-friendly and reliable materials.

Reliable ID Design

The PURE mirrors the design of the HEXA, featuring a combination of angular and rounded shapes. It utilizes several high-precision manufacturing techniques to refine the surface textures of various components, thereby enhancing the overall aesthetics. Furthermore, the pressure relief design has been optimized and the housing size minimized while maintaining reliable wearability, reducing discomfort during extended use.

High-quality cable with robust extendability

The PURE features a high-quality, oxygen-free, silver-plated copper coaxial cable tailored to the tuning style and includes a universal 0.78 mm 2-pin connector (0.78 mm 2-pin recessed jack). This design ensures excellent sound quality and allows the user to explore endless possibilities by swapping cables.
