Launch of a new product range
The Zenith XST20 is the first in a new product range that will soon comprise three matching desktop components and will focus on the high-end market. The XST20 is the first product in this series and serves as a traditional SACD/CD transport for the setup. It will soon be complemented by a top-of-the-line DAC and later by a Linux-based streamer transport.
With the Shanling ONIX Zenith XST20, Shanling presents a new top-of-the-line CD transport with a luxurious design and powerful components.
In addition to a striking aluminum housing, it is equipped with a Sanyo DH870 laser optical drive and can read CDs, SACDs, and MQA CDs.
For an optimal listening experience, the ONIX Zenith XST20 is equipped with gapless playback technology, allowing you to enjoy your CDs without the slightest interruption.
SACD with True DSD output
The Zenith XST20 is designed to unlock the full potential of SACD discs and offers a unique option to play any SACD in its true DSD quality on any external DAC with DSD capabilities. This is achieved using either an I2S connection for native DSD64 or DSD64 DoP via coaxial/optical/AES/BNC connection.
Note: The USB output does not support SACD playback.

There is no streaming, no wireless networking, or complicated apps, just the pure, lossless quality of the discs. A convenient 3.4-inch touchscreen provides direct access to a simple user interface for the most important settings, and the device comes with the Shanling Premium remote control.
