The latest member of the Zenith family is here, completing the product range alongside the ONIX XST20 SACD transport and the ONIX XDA20 DAC.
A new level of streaming convenience
The ONIX XMT20 is the first device to feature Shanling's newly developed Linux streaming platform, which places a greater emphasis on remote control thanks to the full integration of Tidal Connect, QOBUZ Connect, and ROON Ready certification.
The USB port and SSD slot are ready for seamless local playback of all types of hi-res files, with the Eddict Controller app for Android/iOS serving as playback control.
Standard support for DLNA and Airplay 2 covers all other playback scenarios.
High-end quality digital output
The device has six digital outputs, including standard coaxial, optical, BNC, and AES/ABU outputs, as well as Shanling's advanced USB output and dedicated I2S output.
The FPGA-assisted I2S output offers 10 preconfigured output pin assignments, significantly expanding its compatibility to virtually all I2S-enabled DACs on the market.
A pair of high-precision KDS quartz oscillators then ensures high-end digital output with reduced jitter.
Essentially, imagine combining the beautiful sound of Shanling's renowned Onix XST20 SACD player with the unlimited music libraries of streaming services.
Adapted for CD playback and ripping
The XMT20 also features Shanling's new CD playback/ripping system, which is compatible with simple USB CD drives or the more advanced Shanling CR60 CD player.
This feature allows you to either play CDs directly or rip CDs to the SSD/USB drive, including a fully automatic tagging and album cover download system (managed via the Eddict Controller app).

In keeping with the style of the Zenith series, the device features a sturdy aluminum case that has been exquisitely crafted using CNC machines to match the stunning ONIX design, with the traditional gold wheel providing the traditional ONIX heritage.
Power is supplied by a 25VA Talema transformer, matching the outstanding hi-fi performance of our XST20 SACD transport.
