A new hybrid IEM from Juzear and KOTO
With the Nebula, Juzear introduces a new pair of hybrid IEMs developed in collaboration with KOTO, a well known reviewer from Japan.
Its concept and looks are inspired by the flowing light trails of cosmic nebulae. Inside sits a five driver hybrid configuration (1DD + 3BA + 1Planar) tuned for an immersive, spatial sound.
The specialized MACCD driver, the customized balanced armatures and the unique micro planar driver combine into a balanced, transparent presentation with deep, controlled bass and very rich vocals.
The Nebula offers a solid sound response with a spatial 3D soundstage and high information density.
A beautiful collaboration
The Juzear Nebula was co-developed with KOTO, a familiar name in the Japanese audiophile scene.
It is an evolution of the highly regarded Defiant IEMs, with an upgraded driver configuration and a new tuning.
The Nebula offers a natural tone with a wide 3D soundstage and puts emphasis on fine detail across a wide frequency range.
Compared to the Defiant, the added planar driver brings more spaciousness, better layering, more musicality and finer treble.
Cosmic aesthetics
The Nebula draws its inspiration from cosmic nebulae, and the design of the face covers reflects that.
The Phantom Color pattern is made with a combination of laser based layers, micro jet printing and Nebula color refraction.
The result is a pattern that glows like a nebula from different light angles. The colors Nebula Azure and Nebula Ember are available.
Five drivers per side
Each side houses one dynamic driver, three balanced armature drivers and one micro planar driver.
The dynamic driver uses a new MACCD diaphragm (multi layer amorphous carbon composite diaphragm) that is meant to deliver punchy bass.
It is complemented by three custom BA drivers and one custom developed micro planar driver. Juzear aimed for high resolution from every driver.
The result is rich bass, a dynamic and wide soundstage and crisp, detailed vocals.
Precise 4 way crossover
To get the best out of each driver, Juzear uses a precise 4 way crossover in the Nebula.
It consists of an advanced electronic crossover and four independent acoustic tubes.
The dynamic driver handles the low end with good reach and punchy slam.
The BA drivers are tuned for exceptional clarity in the mid and high range.
The micro planar driver provides reach and definition in the high frequencies.
Together the five drivers deliver crisp, high resolution clarity that does justice to every genre.
A cable above its price class
The Nebula comes with a high quality cable that plays above its price class.
It uses a 6N OCC silver plated conductor with 400 cores (100 cores per strand), protected by a durable double layer PVC jacket.
It has standard 2 pin 0.78 mm connectors and an interchangeable plug system.
Plugs in 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm are included.
