Native 1-bit DSD for pure audio

The GUSTARD R26II features a native 1-bit DSD DAC and supports up to DSD2048 via the I2S interface. This enables an astonishing 32-fold increase in resolution compared to standard SACD (DSD64), delivering exceptional dynamic range, clarity, and richness of detail. By bypassing any internal PCM transcoding or DSP processing, an unadulterated signal path is ensured, preserving the full depth and atmosphere of the original recording. Advanced R-2R Resistor Network

At the heart of the R26II lies a fully discrete R-2R resistor network, a purist approach to digital-to-analog conversion. Unlike delta-sigma DACs, which rely on high-frequency modulation and noise shaping, R-2R directly converts digital signals to analog without delay, delivering a clearer, more natural sound. This design eliminates digital artifacts and ensures a highly precise and organic listening experience. The result is a sound character that is rich, harmonious, and unmistakably analog.

GCLK-02 Clock Module

The GUSTARD R26II is equipped with high-precision GUSTARD femto-clock technology. The GCLK-02 clock module uses advanced PLL technology to achieve a synchronization accuracy of less than 1 Hz, thereby ensuring the highest precision. By adjusting the output frequency via a precise feedback mechanism, it ensures outstanding stability and accuracy of both the frequency and phase of the clock signal.

Dual Toroidal Transformers for Clean Power Supply

The R26II features two independent toroidal transformers that provide separate power supplies to both the digital and analog sections of the DAC.
