Preamplifier voltage gain: 2 SYLVANIA NOS PCF80 tubes, manufactured by one of the leading American tube manufacturers—for a refined, transparent sound with an open and natural soundstage.

Power amplification: 4 Czech JJ ELECTRONIC EL34 tubes, classic European power tubes—they deliver a warm, full-bodied sound with a pure, unmistakable tube character.

*Due to objective factors such as variations between production batches, storage duration, and natural oxidation, the screen-printed markings on the vacuum tubes may exhibit slight blurring, fading, discoloration, or even partial peeling. This is a normal and natural phenomenon with vacuum tubes and does not affect their performance or sound quality.

Class-A push-pull amplification, 28 W + 28 W effortless output power

Based on the classic circuits of renowned tube amplifiers from the heyday of the 1950s, combined with pentode operation and pure Class-A operation, distortion is effectively minimized. The result is a soundstage that is delicate, dense, silky, and beautifully transparent.

Furthermore, the 28 W + 28 W (8 Ω) output power is capable of driving most bookshelf speakers and even select floorstanding models, seamlessly combining exceptional refinement with masterful control. From the subtle nuances of a performer’s breath to the expansive soundstage of a concert hall, every detail is reproduced with vivid, lifelike realism.

High-bandwidth, low-noise output transformer

A powerful core, unwavering performance

No expense was spared in the development of a custom-made output transformer made from EI-grade silicon steel laminates. It is filled internally with epoxy resin and fine sand and then completely sealed within a robust transformer housing. This design effectively suppresses transformer vibrations, provides excellent electromagnetic shielding and moisture protection, while significantly improving overall stability and durability. The result: a darker background, tighter and more powerful bass, and refined highs—allowing both the finest details of the music and the most powerful dynamics to be reproduced faithfully.

Stepped, high-precision analog potentiometer—precise and reliable

Volume control is handled by a stepped, high-precision analog potentiometer that allows for fine volume adjustment across 40 steps, with precision resistors matched for each step to ensure a consistent balance between the left and right channels. Volume control is precise and reliable, eliminating the channel imbalances and wear typical of conventional carbon-film potentiometers.

Two-channel, stereo LED-backlit, true mechanical VU meters—music comes to life

These true mechanical VU meters evoke a classic aesthetic and feature warm, retro backlighting controlled by a dedicated driver IC. As soon as the music starts, the needles dance in perfect harmony with your music. Music becomes not just something you hear, but something you can actually “see.”

*The VU meter needles may have a deviation of up to ±1 mm at the zero position, which is within factory tolerance. A slight misalignment between the left and right needles when returning to the zero position is a normal manufacturing phenomenon and does not affect actual use.

*When using the headphone output, please disconnect the speaker terminals first. It is recommended to connect dummy loads with matching impedance to the speaker terminals to prevent the unit from operating under light-load or no-load conditions for extended periods.

A built-in precision signal detection circuit continuously monitors the input. After 30 minutes without a signal, the EA13 automatically switches to standby mode—this reduces power consumption and helps extend the lifespan of the tubes.
