DUNU is renowned for its luxurious headphones that offer exceptional fidelity, impeccable craftsmanship and outstanding value for money. Compared to the original SA6, the MK2 variant has fully realised its potential and undergone numerous improvements.
High-performance drivers for a high-quality experience
The DUNU SA6 MK2 is equipped with six high-performance Balanced Armature drivers from SONION and Knowles. This duo consists of two SONION woofers, two Knowles midrange drivers and two Knowles tweeters. The pair is carefully tuned with a three-piece crossover to ensure clear frequency separation and good response. In addition, the SA6 MK2 features a physical and electronic frequency splitting system that harmonises the six balanced anchor drivers for a smooth, natural sound with a wide soundstage and remarkable clarity.
Innovative Q-Lock Plus connector system with interchangeable connectors
The Hulk Pro Mini upgrade cable features DUNU's patented Q-Lock Plus system with interchangeable connector plugs. It comes with 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs. Exquisite handcrafted ear cups and further optimised profile The DUNU SA6 MK2 is the culmination of masterful craftsmanship. The earcups are handcrafted in an intricate and labour-intensive process, resulting in a warm, textured finish. The ear cups are fitted with specially selected stabilised wood panels. Although each panel is a similar shade, they have different textures. Gold-coloured resin runs through the design, adding sophistication. The shape and profile of the shell have been refined and enhanced by a new type of earpiece, resulting in a more voluminous form. This effectively increases the display area of the stunning designer panel while ensuring a comfortable fit. (As it is purely handmade, the panel pattern of the headset is always individual).
Two signatures with two tuning modes
DUNU has equipped the SA6 MK2 with a tuning switch that offers the user two different sound characters. The standard tuning mode ("I") provides a precise and balanced response, while the ambiance enhancement mode ("ON") adds a touch of power to the lower registers. These two modes cleverly adapt to different genres of music. (Please ensure that the earphones on both sides are in the same mode when listening).
Improved cable and high quality internal wiring
The SA6 MK2 comes with the high purity Hulk Pro Mini cable. It uses double-finished, high-purity Furukawa single-crystal copper wire cores with independent aluminium foil shielding. This maintains the outstanding sonic performance of the original Hulk Pro, while maintaining a lightweight design. To achieve optimum performance with the Studio SA6 MK2, the pair's internal wiring has been improved. The internal cable connections now use high purity silver-plated Furukawa single crystal copper cables.
