For their flagship set, DUNU has equipped the pair with a tribrid driver configuration with nine drivers on each side.
The pair features a powerful dynamic driver, four high-performance balanced armature drivers, and four SONION EST drivers.
These drivers have been carefully selected to deliver true flagship acoustics. They offer you a grand, majestic sound performance, just like large icy glaciers.
The set ultimately has a fully dynamic and natural sound, a sound you are sure to love.
The dynamic driver handles the bass range, the custom-made BA drivers handle the mid to high frequencies, and the four EST drivers ensure airy and open high-frequency reproduction.
Glacier-inspired dynamic design
DUNU Glacier is a specially designed flagship set of in-ear monitors.
The pair features exquisitely designed ear cups with a fully organically shaped, curved body reminiscent of the flowing water in glaciers. DUNU has used high-quality 904L stainless steel to manufacture these stunning earpieces.
They are then polished by hand to achieve a luxurious mirror finish that gives the pair their final look. The ear cups are made of solid 904L stainless steel. These are the first earpieces on the market made from 904L stainless steel. Finally, the earpieces are treated with a DLC (diamond-like coating) to preserve their appearance and improve durability.
Dual four-way crossover
DUNU has developed a complex acoustic cavity structure for the latest Glacier.
The pair features a dual four-way crossover. It has an independent electronic four-channel crossover controller. This four-way system precisely controls the frequency response and delivers consistent performance with each driver unit. This new cable is based on the tuning profile of the Hulk Pro, but features a completely new white outer shell that matches the icy color theme of the Glacier.
The cable has an 8-wire configuration with a refined high-purity monocrystalline copper core material. It features a three-layer insulation coating and a shock-absorbing nylon sheath.
The cable is equipped with high-quality 2-pin connectors and features DUNU's patented Q-Lock Plus Swappable connector system.
The DUNU Glacier comes with 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced connectors.
