Deep as the ocean, lively as the waves
The DUNU DN142 is largely inspired by Ao Bing, a lively character from the world of Nezha. If Nezha is a burning flame characterized by exciting red and yellow patterns, then AO Bing is the deep and turbulent sea. The DN142 Ao Bing Edition pays homage to classic Eastern aesthetics and inner strength. The pair conveys a calm and expansive profile through its soft, natural, and lifelike sound.

DUNU has many years of experience in developing high-quality in-ear monitors with multi-driver hybrid driver configurations. The DUNU DN142 is a companion to the recently introduced DN242 with a similar tribrid driver configuration.
As you might guess, the name DN142 refers to the driver configuration of the pair. It features a tribrid configuration with seven drivers on each side, including one dynamic driver, four balanced armature drivers, and two micro-planar drivers. This seven-driver configuration delivers high-quality sound across a wide frequency range.
Electronic+physical four-way crossover system
To get the most out of each driver unit and ensure extremely low distortion from multiple drivers, DUNU has equipped the DN142 with a professional electronic+physical four-way crossover system. We have combined four independent acoustic channels with a precisely tuned electronic chipset to achieve clear and accurate sound reproduction. This crossover precisely controls each frequency range, ensuring exceptional coherence and seamless transitions between bands. The pair features a dynamic driver for clear, defined, and powerful low-frequency reproduction. It uses two custom-designed balanced armature drivers for natural vocals and detailed instruments in the midrange. Two additional custom-designed balanced armature drivers provide a clearly defined high-frequency band. Finally, we have two custom-designed micro-planar drivers responsible for reproducing the ultra-high-frequency band.
