iBasso DX260
An epic digital audio player - With a CS43198 x 8 octa-DAC chip matrix
The CS43198, a flagship DAC chip from Cirrus Logic, has excellent dynamic range, superb micro-detail resolution and an impressively low noise floor, contributing to exceptional performance. The Octa-DAC chip matrix guarantees both excellent sound quality and outstanding DAP performance. The THD+N value is -123 dB, making it the best among portable players. This groundbreaking performance sets a new standard in the industry.
FPGA-MASTER 2.0 - The advanced audio system controller
After years of algorithm development, iBasso has evolved the FPGA-Master to the second generation. As an audio system controller, it requests audio data directly from the SoC and plays an important role in signal playback and maintaining signal integrity. It synchronizes and generates all audio clocks using two NDK femtosecond oscillators to provide a fully synchronized single clock source. The FPGA Master 2.0 also has precise picosecond-level control and adjusts the DAC clock and data and builds the FIR filter.
FIR filter - The DAC matrix magician
Thanks to the new algorithm of the FPGA-MASTER 2.0, the potential of the 8x CS43198 can be further explored and developed.
Synchronous parallel output mode: This reduces the "discrete distortion" between the DACs and improves the overall performance.
FIR 2x mode, FIR 4x mode
With FPGA-MASTER 2.0, precise control and adjustment of the DAC clock and data is achieved in picoseconds, making each DAC data stream independently adjustable. Through the "delay parallel" of 4 DACs, the DACs form an analog hardware FIR filter that averages the differences between multiple DACs, reducing distortion and effectively improving sound detail and realism.
Android11 + Mango OS - Open OS + closed Linux OS
The iBasso DX260 is equipped with the latest Android 11 system that allows you to easily install streaming apps for a seamless Android experience. The DX260 efficiently bypasses the SRC at system level. Whether Mango Player or a third-party streaming APP, you can take advantage of the "Non-SRC" feature at the system level and get the highest sound quality recording. The DX260 features the Mango OS, a Linux-based audio system carefully designed for exceptional audio playback. The underlying driver algorithms have been heavily optimized with a focus on audio playback. This pure sound system has no WiFi or Bluetooth interference, it has lower EMI and a purer listening experience.
New user interface of the Mango Player APP Looks better and smarter
Dedicated USB receiver for USB DAC mode: A USB DAC with low latency Supports ASIO/WASAPI output
New ID design - User removable rear panel
iBasso presents the new ID design. With the return of the volume controls and a more industrial look. The back cover is easily removable and provides full access to the batteries, making them easier to replace.
