While retaining the musicality of R2R, it offers detail and performance that surpass traditional R2R designs. The DC-Tonfa is equipped with a total of 312 temperature-stable, high-precision metal film resistors that make up the R2R resistor network. The total number of resistors far exceeds that of traditional single-ended R2R DACs. With a hardware resistor compensation network built from 60 high-precision resistors, combined with FPGA software algorithms, resistance tolerance and temperature drift are strictly controlled, resulting in significantly improved linearity and consistency, laying the foundation for pure and realistic sound reproduction.
