Excellent objective measurement values

The GATE features a brand-new diaphragm material and an optimized acoustic structure, resulting in minimal linear distortion and improved high-frequency reproduction compared to previous models. It ensures an excellent frequency-amplitude response with HRTF characteristics and delivers a balanced, long-lasting, and pleasant sound with adequate bass reproduction.

‍Furthermore, the GATE exhibits exceptionally low nonlinear distortion, with measured distortion in most frequency bands being less than 0.2% under non-echo-free room conditions and at 104 dB SPL. This results in a clean background and allows for individual adjustments via EQ without negative effects.

Driver:

‍To optimize the driver’s structure and diaphragm stiffness, the GATE uses a dynamic 10-mm driver with an internal magnetic circuit, featuring an optimized front chamber filter and a special diaphragm design.

‍Diaphragm:

The GATE uses a new carbon-LCP diaphragm material that is stiffer than the standard LCP diaphragm and improves high-frequency sensitivity. The ultra-thin PU further enhances bass texture and ensures reliable diaphragm operation.

Structure:

Structural rigidity has been optimized to fully leverage the acoustic properties of the new diaphragm while minimizing deformation of the 10-mm driver during metal stamping. This ensures consistent production and acoustics.

Voice Coil:

A large, ultra-thin CCAW voice coil provides a lightweight and reliable suspension system.

Brand-new ID design, precision-fit

The GATE’s housing design has been refined based on HOLA, with the appearance further optimized by a transparent front panel. The injection-molded housing made of PC+ABS composite material not only ensures a lightweight overall design but also offers a stable and reliable form and structure. In addition, the GATE features brand-new earbuds for an impressive listening experience and retains the short earbuds to minimize the uncomfortable fit often associated with in-ear headphones. All these efforts are aimed at delivering a better sound experience.

High-quality oxygen-free cable

The GATE comes with a multi-strand, high-quality oxygen-free copper cable—a 2-pin, thickly twisted pair with premium cable sheathing for a tangle-free experience—and is paired with a universal 0.78 mm 2-pin jack (the recess is of the recessed type) for convenient and reliable use.
