Softears VolumeS is finally here, as the successor to the highly acclaimed Softears Volume
Softears has completely redesigned the Volume from the ground up with a brand new design and driver configuration.
The pair consists of two dynamic drivers and two balanced armature drivers on each side.
Softears VolumeS houses a 10mm silicone diaphragm dynamic driver, a 6mm wool paper diaphragm passive dynamic driver, and two BA drivers.
The VolumeS has two operating modes that can be easily switched using a Japanese Copal switch.
The two modes are labeled Classic and POP tuning and have a low impedance and high impedance design mode.
In POP mode, the pair simulates a standard HRTF curve that delivers high-quality resolution and detail.
The other mode simulates a hi-fi audio system with a comfortable and natural listening experience that is perfect for classical music.
Softears has used precise design elements to give you the best music listening experience with the VolumeS.
Get ready to experience the advanced engineering of Softears VolumeS IEMs!

Next-level audio excellence
Softears Volume is still a highly regarded IEM today.
The VolumeS is a completely redesigned variant of the same.
Softears has not only improved the Volume in terms of design, but has developed the new pair with a new driver setup, a new top-of-the-range electronic crossover, an advanced low-latency acoustic tube structure, etc.
All these features make the VolumeS a true evolution of the highly acclaimed Volume.

Customize your sound with dual tuning modes
Softear's VolumeS combines two sounds in a single package.
The pair features two tuning modes suitable for classical and POP music.
These modes are easily switched using the Japanese copal mode switch on the covers.
Sifter engineers have developed a key concept: Both modes have different impedance values, which affect the sound output of the pair.
By incorporating this new concept, the pair achieves seamless switching between the two modes.
The POP mode follows the standard HRTF room acoustics curve, which is perfect for pop music.
The other mode provides a comfortable and natural listening experience and is perfect for classical music.
Softears VolumeS comes with a tool to rotate the switch to either mode.

Perfect bass with dynamic+passive dynamic driver combination
Softears VolumeS uses a combination of active and passive dynamic drivers.
The pair includes an active dynamic driver with 10mm silicone diaphragm.
It also incorporates a passive dynamic driver with a 6mm wool diaphragm.
The passive driver is inverted and placed at the dome position of the active dynamic driver. This design ensures strong and powerful reproduction in the lower range and gives the overall sound of the VolumeS a particular richness.

Proprietary Balanced Armature Driver (ED Series)
Softears VolumeS adopts a full-range proprietary balanced armature driver.
It is a dual BA driver that combines the classic ED and WBFK BA drivers.
This composite driver works as a full-frequency driver, providing enriching performance across the entire frequency band.

Precisely engineered acoustic channel structure
Softears VolumeS uses a precisely designed acoustic tube structure.
The aim of this structure is to achieve the full and smooth sound using channel tubes.
Qualified engineers have designed the low-latency channel structure with the shortest possible length and minimal bending angles.
This helps the VolumeS maintain proper phase consistency across the entire frequency band.

Flagship-level electronic crossover with RC tuning network
Starting from the flagship Softears RS10, the brand implements the high-precision RC tuning network technology into a three-way crossover for the Softears VolumeS.
With high adaptability and ultra-low loss, the RC Tuning Network ensures powerful and full sound reproduction.
The pair uses 8 precisely tuned crossover components to filter frequencies and control their range.
It effectively filters out excess signals and achieves smooth impedance distribution across the entire frequency range.
Enjoy clean sound with extremely low distortion in the output signal.

Strip Pressure Relief Technology
Softears designed the VolumeS with a physical pressure relief structure in the rear chamber.
It is combined with a patented high-pass filter in the front chamber.
This technology improves air pressure build-up and ensures a comfortable wearing experience for the user.
It also provides better bass response with faster transients and lower distortion.

Excellent design, appropriate comfort
Softears has designed the ear cups of the VolumeS using the professional 3D printing brand HeyGears.
The inner cavity is made of high-quality resin material, which ensures excellent sound and high wearing comfort.
The comfortable shells have been combined with an artful front panel, which was manufactured using a 5-axis CNC process.
The front panels are made of high-quality aluminum alloy and have a carbon fiber insert.
