Shanling Pro R2R DAC Module

The SCD1.3R features the second generation of Shanling’s in-house-developed DAC, a true high-end solution previously used in the Shanling SCD3.3 SACD player. Its improved R2R assembly uses 212 extremely precise resistors with a tolerance of 0.001% for the 24-bit DAC module and is based on a 19-bit architecture with a 4-bit compensation code and a supporting push-pull differential circuit. The result is a smooth and natural R2R sound with true high-fidelity precision and clarity.

Hi-Fi-quality disc mechanism

The SCD1.3R utilizes the MediaTek ME1389EE system in combination with the HD870 laser in a tray-loading drive, thereby unlocking the full potential of high-resolution SACD discs through stable and error-free reading.

Comprehensive SACD and CD Support

Supports standard CDs, SACDs, and hybrid SACDs, with limited functionality for multichannel SACDs as well.

Features a dedicated button for quickly switching between the SACD and CD layers of hybrid SACD discs.

FPGA-Optimized 12S Output

Features a dedicated FPGA circuit for even finer tuning of the 12S output. This feature offers significantly improved compatibility with DACs on the market, including 10 of the most common 12S HDMI standards.

New Quartz Oscillators and 4th-Generation FPGA

Enhanced Japanese KDS active quartz oscillators at 90 MHz and 98 MHz, along with the further-optimized 4th-generation Shanling algorithm, ensure greater accuracy and improved performance when decoding all audio data.

Due to its multifunctional capabilities, the SCD13R runs on the latest generation of the Shanling MTouch system, which is based on the Ingenic X2000 platform and controlled via a 5-inch touchscreen.
