Shanling EC Smart is the new entry-level model in the CD player range, which aims to provide very easy and affordable CD playback at home.
Effortless CD solution for headphones, active monitors, powerful amplifiers or even Bluetooth speakers.
Swivel the front panel to the side to reveal the Sanyo DA11 optical drive, insert your favorite CD, and you're ready to go.
No complicated settings or smartphone apps, just a pure CD player with a few buttons and a simple infrared remote control.
The audio section uses the Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC in hi-fi quality, offering a clean and smooth sound.
Easily connect EC Smart to a pair of active monitors or even to a full speaker set with powerful amplifiers thanks to the rear line-out output (3.5 mm jack, RCA adapter included).
For intermittent listening, Shanling has added a dedicated 3.5mm headphone output on the side of the CD player.
The new generation of Shanling CD players is unique thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity and Shanling has transferred the same to the EC Smart.
Simply pair it with your favorite Bluetooth speakers to bring your CD collection into the world of modern wireless audio.
Thanks to its compact design with mainly aluminum construction, EC Smart fits easily into any living space.
Although it's mainly designed for vertical use, with the rotating discs taking centre stage, the bottom stand can be removed and the CD player can simply stand on its rear rubber feet for an even more compact setup.
And because the EC Smart only requires a simple USB power source, it can be powered directly from any phone charger, USB port on your computer or TV.
EC Smart can even be powered by portable battery chargers if you want to go to the park or a remote mountain hut completely off the grid.
