The LAN II embodies Moondrop's design philosophy of combining sophisticated aesthetics with acoustic precision. Its stainless steel housing, manufactured using advanced metal injection molding (MIM) technology, ensures durability and a high-quality feel. Both the REF and POP versions feature laser-engraved details that give them a subtle uniqueness while maintaining the distinctive identity of the LAN series.
Glass dome composite diaphragm for superior clarity
The LAN II features a newly developed composite diaphragm with a glass dome only 0.05 mm thick, offering extremely high rigidity and internal resistance. This results in exceptional high-frequency reproduction, excellent resolution, and extremely low distortion. The flexible suspension design supports long dynamic strokes and ensures detailed and lifelike sound reproduction.
Highly efficient internal and external composite magnetic circuit
Driven by two concentric N52 magnets, the internal and external composite magnetic drive generates a uniform magnetic flux density of over 1 Tesla. This ensures that the voice coil drives the diaphragm with superior efficiency and stability, resulting in dynamic, uniform, and distortion-free sound reproduction across all frequency ranges.
Two versions for different listening preferences
LAN II REF: Specially designed for mid to high frequencies and instrumental music, it enhances spatial detail and is ideal for classical and orchestral music.
LAN II POP: Takes a more dynamic approach by boosting the mid-bass and vocal presence for powerful bass and captivating vocals.
Benchmark hi-fi performance
Despite its compact form, the LAN II delivers remarkable hi-fi performance. Tuned to Moondrop's VDSF target response, it achieves extended highs and balanced tonality, providing a consistent reference-level listening experience while minimizing nonlinear distortion even at high volumes.
