Nanoscopic magnetron spraying process
LETSHUOER planar headphones use the nanoscopic magnetron spraying process, a high-end production technology, for the S08's planar driver, in which the copper material is sprayed onto the substrate.
This process ensures high stability and coats the diaphragm with an additional voice coil layer, compared to the single-layer voice coils of conventional speakers.
The benefits of this process bring better control of cone vibrations, reduction of resonant frequency, minimisation of distortion caused by cone resonance and effective improvement of overall transient response and longer life.
In terms of sound performance, it improves the resolution of high frequencies, which raises the texture of high frequencies to a new level.
Driver cone and surround
LETSHUOER took matters into their own hands during the customisation process of the S08 driver unit.
They applied an elastic PTR foil surround to the edge of the cone voice coil, which gives the cone greater stretch and stability.
This optimises the performance in the low frequency range, which significantly increases the depth of the bass and enables a much tighter bass response.
High quality modular cable
An excellent cable has been chosen, the cables consist of 4 cores with 30 strands of 0.05 mm silver-plated copper, ensuring efficient transmission performance, finer musical detail and a more intense sense of space.
It is also equipped with modular 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs.
The twist-lock design ensures the durability and reliability of the plugs.
