Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : Kiwi Acoustic Resonance System (KARS)
The Kiwi Ears Singolo feature the KARS system, a discrete bandpass filter that manipulates the airflow to the driver and regulates the low frequency output. This innovation features a network of labyrinth tubes specifically designed to determine the most appropriate resonance point for Singolo headphones.
The KARS enables a tight infrabass band, which was previously not possible with single driver headphones. The quality and texture of the bass is incomparable to any other tuning method.
Unlike conventional crossovers that use multiple drivers with RC (resistor-capacitor) networks, KARS uses Helmholtz resonance to regulate its tuning.
The airflow in a dynamic driver determines the level of cone response, but also requires additional calculations of flow, direction and volume. The KARS system allows this airflow to be precisely regulated without unwanted artifacts where RC networks tend to distort the sound reproduction, especially when using low cost SMD components.
Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : a custom liquid crystal polymer driver
To showcase the KARS system, the Singolo IEMs are equipped with Japanese liquid crystal polymer (LCP) membrane drivers. These dynamic 11 mm drivers have been specially developed for the KARS system and feature unique acoustic chamber profiles at the front and rear. Liquid crystal polymer was chosen as the diaphragm material due to its tonal properties. Harder metal-based cones tend to have a metallic sound in their timbre, while plastic-based cones tend to sound dull.
The LCP offers a perfect balance between the two stiffnesses for fast transient frequencies and natural timbre. Thanks to KARS technology, this speaker has been tuned for acoustic dynamics alone, which means that the sound you hear comes only from the speaker. Kiwi Ears x Crinacle Singolo : the sonic signature of Crinacle The Singolo headphones are tuned to the sonic signature of Crinacle. With a sub-bass band of 8 dB, the bass is incredibly powerful and punchy, but stops perfectly at 300 Hz. The result is neutral mids that articulate the natural sound of voices and instruments without any artificial overlay or muddiness. The treble follows with a clear peak at 3 kHz, followed by a gradual decay.

The Singolo have a detachable cable system. The 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors allow the cable to be replaced at any time. This allows you to personalize your listening experience while guaranteeing a longer life for your headphones.
