In contrast to the neutral sound balance of other Kiwi Ears IEMs, the Melody is aimed at bass lovers with a tuned emphasis on the powerful bass response characteristic of planar drivers. Careful tuning of the mids and highs ensures a balanced and articulate sound signature, while the ultra treble extension provides more air and micro detail.

With an impedance of just 18Ω and a sensitivity of 102dB, the Melody is optimized to drive the planar driver efficiently, making it compatible with a wide range of mobile and professional DAC/AMP setups. Professional technical features

The new 12 mm planar driver delivers a frequency response from 5 Hz to 40,000 Hz. This means that every audible nuance, from the deepest bass to the smallest micro-details in the treble, is faithfully reproduced. The bass booms with great sensitivity and power, while the treble is airy and shimmering. And thanks to the specially developed driver housing, the sound stage is wide and realistic, just like open headphones, with precise image reproduction.

Powerful tuning
In a departure from the normally neutral sound balance of Kiwi Ears' other IEMs, the Melody is a bass lover's dream. The Melody has been tuned to bring out all the powerful bass a planar driver can deliver. The Melody offers the greatest quantity and quality of bass in the IEM range to date, with an impressive, extremely fast and responsive punch that is characteristic of true planar drivers. However, to avoid a dull or muddy sound signature, the mids and highs have been carefully matched to the bass response. With a precise placement of the treble at 3 kHz, which corresponds to the ear's natural hearing sensation, and a gradual arching of the treble, the Melody offers clear articulation. And thanks to in-house driver development, the ultra-high frequency range is fully extended from 10kHz to 40kHz to deliver hyper-realistic air and micro-detail.

Detachable special cable
The Melody is supplied as standard with a detachable cable with 2-pin 0.78 mm plugs. This high-quality cable optimizes signal transmission while reducing microphone noise. The cable can be interchanged with other cables to customize your listening experience and extend the life of the IEM.
