High-performance dual-cavity DLC dynamic driver
Equipped with a high-performance 10 mm dual-cavity dynamic driver. It features a latest-generation DLC material diaphragm, a powerful N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, a high-strength ultra-fine voice coil wire, a resonance-suppressing dual-cavity structure and many other professionally designed acoustic structures. Dunu Kima and Kima Classic
1. In contrast to the silver-grey cabinet of Kima, the Kima Classic has a coffee-grey finish. The look of the pair has improved dramatically with this beautiful colour theme.
2. Kima and Kima Classic have the same driver configuration, but the sound tuning is different for Kima Classic.
Kima: The distribution of the three frequencies is more balanced. Kima has a warmer, more sustained sound and is versatile.
Kima Classic: With an increased presence in the low and high frequency ranges, the sound of the Classic is more lively and three-dimensional. It is better suited for pop music.
A new generation DLC cone
KIMA uses a new generation DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) diaphragm. Compared to a conventional DLC diaphragm, this new generation diaphragm has a uniform structure that improves stiffness and damping characteristics, greatly reducing overall harmonic distortion and further optimising acoustic performance. The full frequency response is more precise and efficient.
Micro-control airflow structure on the front and back of the cavity
The DUNU KIMA features a micro-controller placed in the airflow holes of the front and rear chambers. This creates a unique micro-control system with balanced airflow in the front and rear chambers. The system was developed after extensive research and simulation testing, taking full account of the airflow and sound attenuation requirements of the dynamic high-performance rider.
Well-designed front panel and high-density alloy shells
Kima's front panel is divided into four asymmetrical, angled planes separated by K-shaped convex lines to create a three-dimensional visual perception. In combination with the reflective metal texture, different light and shadow effects are created. The ear cups for Kima are made from a high-density metal alloy. The high-density alloy material is melted and cast and then goes through many processes such as fine carving, touching up, grinding, etc. for a smooth surface. After a special sandblasting process, the bowls feel delicate and pleasantly textured in the hand. The all-metal cavity structure looks high-quality and offers stable acoustic performance.
High-quality monocrystalline silver-plated copper cable
DUNU Kima contains a high-purity, 4-core, single-crystal silver-plated copper cable. It is a highly efficient cable that ensures premium sound quality. The cable has a braided stranded structure. It has an insulating outer shield that protects the signal from external interference and delivers a pure sound. Thanks to the standard 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors, the pair is widely compatible and easy to use. It features custom pin shapes with high penetration and red markings on the right side to quickly distinguish the pins on both sides.
