DUNU introduces the Falcon Ultra, an improved version of the classic Falcon Pro IEM. While the design and ergonomics of the original model have been retained, the Falcon Ultra has been given a completely new design. The model has a new color scheme to enhance the aesthetics and features DUNU's second-generation ECLIPSE Architecture dynamic drivers with a pure lithium-magnesium metal alloy dome structure that opens up new dimensions of pure sound through professional tuning and impressive design. The original Falcon Pro model featured a premium metallic mirror finish, but with the Falcon Ultra, DUNU goes one better and presents an eye-catching blue finish. The pair's dense blue shells look stunning, with a glossy, mirror-like finish that shows different color gradients depending on the light.
Dynamic 10.7 mm lithium-magnesium dome driver
The DUNU Falcon Ultra features an innovative dynamic driver that belongs to the second generation of the renowned ECLIPSE architecture first introduced in the flagship DUNU Zen IEMs. The pair features a 10.7mm dynamic driver with a brand new lithium-magnesium alloy dome structure, paired with a fully independent soft suspension surround. This unique combination of an ultra-stable yet lightweight cone and independent suspension provides remarkably fast transients and effortless music reproduction, significantly enhancing the performance of the pair.
External ring type magnetic construction
DUNU has taken the magnetic architecture of the Falcon Ultra to a new level. The pair now features an external ring-type magnet assembly with an impressive Tesla-level magnetic flux. The magnetic parts have been carefully CNC-machined to micrometer tolerances and produce a magnetic flux equivalent to the flagship Zen Pro. This improvement ensures a clear sound with minimal distortion and enhances the overall sound experience.
Improved damping architecture
DUNU's professional acoustic engineers have further refined the multi-path attenuation scheme previously used in the Falcon Pro. This refined design architecture achieves an excellent balance between the ideal attenuation and isolation properties of the Falcon Ultra. The result is improved wearing comfort, ensuring that the headphones do not exert pressure on the ear canal when worn.
Latest high-purity DUNU DUW02 Pro cable
The DUNU Falcon Ultra is equipped with the latest high-purity DUW02 Pro Stock Cable. This premium cable is made with high purity Furukawa single crystal copper silver plated conductors and features DUNU's patented Q-Lock Lite modular connector system. The package offers both a 3.5mm single-ended and a 4.4mm balanced plug, allowing the user to switch effortlessly when required.
Improved driver with new diaphragm
The Falcon Ultra features an updated diaphragm for its dynamic driver unit. Unlike the Falcon with its plastic structure, DUNU has improved it with a lithium-magnesium alloy, similar to the Mg-Al alloy used in the flagship Zen Pro IEMs. This lightweight yet robust alloy ensures premium audio output with clear sound reproduction. In addition, DUNU has improved the structure of the magnetic circuit, which is similar in design to that of the Zen Pro but slightly smaller. It is very close to the Zen Pro in terms of magnetic flux. This improved diaphragm and magnetic circuit provide a clearer sound with precise imaging, improved energy and an overall refined sound signature.
